Job description
This position is for a Director of Systems Engineering. The qualified candidate will lead a multidiscipline engineering team managing the technical performance of the requirements, development, system support, planning and sustainment for a diverse set of products in the missile, air and space domains. The Director will have organizational responsibility for all engineering talent and their development and readiness to support all ESI efforts including cross division and cross Sector collaboration efforts, ensuring the systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
The strategic planning of skills, labor mix and leadership development are a critical responsibility of the selected candidate.

This person interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant technical matters which often require coordination across the company. Responsibilities also include horizontal integration of best practices across the organization, maintaining cognizance over technical activities and ensuring execution of program statement of work and baselines. The position reports to the ESI Program Director.
