Cloudera is looking for talented Engineering Leaders who have a passion for building and shipping great software. You will be responsible for hiring and leading teams of ultra talented engineers and for driving innovation for our core Compute and Data Processing Platforms -- MR, YARN, Spark, Ingest, Hive/Pig -- all in an exciting and fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Hiring, building and mentoring all-star Engineer teams; Enabling some of the smartest Engineers in the industry to build products that wow our customers; Collaborating with senior leaders in the organization to strategize around product and technical direction; Developing companywide technical perspectives and standards.

You’re Qualified If
You have proven success building, growing and leading a top tier development organization.
You are organized, action oriented, and accomplished in the development of cutting-edge Enterprise software.
You have a strong background in distributed systems and 'datacenter scale' computing; you’ve been a ninja software engineer yourself.
You have strong convictions around how great software is built, a healthy disregard for big-company process and bureaucracy, and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction.
You are quick to absorb and foster a strong Engineering culture, you have a curiosity and desire to learn.
You are self-motivated, eager to make an impact all levels to product and business strategy.
