Job description
Implement and oversee an integrated global strategy for Diversity & Inclusion that supports Symantec's business goals and enables an inclusive environment where all employees are able to rise to their greatest potential and contribute to business results.
Function as a consultant to the various business units and functional leaders within the organization
Build/drive employee networks/resource groups.
Responsible for the collection of diversity data which includes reporting and analytics; develop and maintain a D&I scorecard which effectively measures various aspects of the company's D&I strategy for the business units and company leadership to track progress against goals.
Collaborate with external groups to strengthen workforce representation, workplace inclusion, and marketplace presence as a diverse and inclusive employer of choice.
Lead and manage a small group of diversity team members
Oversee and manage EEO/AAP processes which include OFCCP audits and creating Affirmative Action Plans
Qualifications:
▪ Good written and oral communication skills.
▪ A proven ability to win support for ideas and initiatives.
▪ Strong project management skills
▪ Proven track record of successful delivery of D&I that move the mark on building an inclusive culture. -Proven track record of building culture and capability to build more diverse organization.
▪ Proven experience in participating in D&I councils, external organizations, and/or affinity groups. -Leadership in this area strongly preferred.
▪ Sensitivity to the diverse needs of all individuals
▪ Understanding of human resources principles and practices
▪ Must be able to articulate the linkage between diversity & inclusion and business needs in order to foster alignment and support and create metrics to measure progress
Minimum educational level:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
* Master’s degree in related area preferred
Minimum experience:
* Ten+ years experience in Diversity and Inclusion field
