Job Description
Position Responsibilities Include
Creating approach plans for new customers Leading and teaming with Marketing for approaches, collateral and opening strategies for new accounts
Leading the deal pursuit team
Creating deal strategy
Creating pursuit plan and proposal plan of attack
Administering pipeline and maintaining sales pipeline data accurately and timely
Negotiating and closing deal contracts Thoroughly understanding services costing, pricing and value
Creating price strategy
Adhering to Ryders policies and procedures including Travel and Expense Policy

Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum of three years of sales experience in complex sales or experience in Ryder's operations, engineering, solutions, or FMS Sales

Additional Requirements
MBA Preferred
Excellent problem solving, listening, written and oral presentation skills required
Ability to work in a team environment and influence at multiple levels with internal and external customers is required
Travel up to 80% via automobile and commercial airline carrier
