Key Responsibilities
• Set data management strategy for all (current and future) Supply Chain solutions
• Partner with senior business users to establish a data management vision and strategy in all 3 layers:
Foundation (Supplier and Item Master; Merlin, Nutritional specs, etc.)
Visibility and planning (ROP and market supply plan; Global and market visibility on volume and spend)

SRM (Supplier Relationship Management – supplier compliance and performance etc.
• Provide leadership for all big data efforts, digital analytics and supplier relationship management tools.
• Identify opportunities to implement innovative solutions that will allow McDonald’s Global Supply Chain to capitalize on its data
• Conceptualize, develop and continuously optimize dashboard reporting for Global and market Supply Chain and executive management to enable data driven decision making.
• Direct data integration, data analytics, and predictive modeling processes to meet Global and market Supply Chain business requirements.
• Improve time to market of projects by providing high quality, easily accessed historical supply chain data for both analysis and transactional purposes
• Determine cost effective Supply Chain technology solutions to support the overarching Global strategy
• Facilitate tool selection, including business cases and requirements definition together with the business, internal, and external partners.
• Establish a multi-year budget and roadmap to implement the overarching Global strategy
• Establish and implement Global data governance
• Implement Global data management policies and procedures
• Manage the implementation of data management Supply Chain solutions
• Build and lead a high performance Global Supply Chain Data team responsible for designing, implementing and deploying big data projects.
• Manage and mentor a staff of Directors, Managers, Analysts and Programmers/Developers and proactively integrate with the suppliers IT staff.
• Manage and maintain McDonald’s Supply Chain big data technology systems already in place
• Responsible for ensuring integration with digital and IT groups is kept current and accurate.
• Oversee the ongoing development and operations of a Global Supply Chain business intelligence architecture that enables fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis and insight generation.
• Oversee maintenance of data management solution systems and oversee the ongoing development of data flows and data quality to continuously improve data accuracy, viability, and value.
• Partner and manage internal relationships with the IT and other departments as required
• Drive efficiency in the data management across the entire Supply Chain organization (incl. the supplier base)
• Interface with several distributed groups in Global database/data warehouse design and optimization.
Minimum Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Business Administration, Business Management, Statistics, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years experience with data management roles
• Previous experience implementing new Supply Chain Data platforms highly preferred
• Team leadership experience (managing team of 7 professionals)
• Proven experience partnering with senior business users to establish a data management vision and strategy
• A deep and broad understanding of core and emerging analytics methods and approaches and how they can be deployed to drive value
• Multi-year budgeting and road mapping experience
• Experience partnering with internal IT and Digital departments
