Director - WW - Business Analytics - Johnson & Johnson - Wayne


Job description
The WW Director of Business Analytics is responsible for driving commercial analytics across the Global JJDSC franchise, including BGM, Insulin Delivery, and Engagement solution. S/he will be data driven, insights-based, and a global business “provocateur” – able to challenge from a neutral, objective perspective to ensure appropriate focus on the right dynamics to achieve sustained, market leading, and profitable growth.


The WW Director of Business Analytics leads a team of highly qualified individuals focused on developing and using appropriate technology platforms/tools and analytical methodologies to understand and evaluate market conditions, customer and consumer channel dynamics, competition, market segmentation, marketing program effectiveness and ROI, and franchise share and business performance. This role is responsible for the flawless execution of all projects and activities required to drive success of business including proactively providing fact-based insights and analytics programs to address strategic business needs, and developing and implementing new innovative insights and business analytics tools and techniques and processes. The WW Director of Business Analytics will also build strong collaboration and partnership with Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Finance, IT, and Pricing.

Job Function

Marketing

A minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent is required, preferably in a science or technical field. Commercial AND/OR management consulting experience is required. Marketing analytics experience is also required. Top Tier consulting and/or healthcare experience is preferred.



Required

Mastery in evaluating, diagnosing, and recommending action plans for each of the following is required:
Market and category conditions and dynamics (volume and value)
Customer (provider, pharmacy, payer) and consumer behavior dynamics, and influence levels
Competition, differentiation, and value proposition
Market segmentation and prioritization
Marketing program optimization and ROI maximization
Franchise business performance measurement, tracking, and KPI’s.


Excellent interpersonal and written communication and presentation skills are required. The ability to manage people is required; Prior people management experience is preferred. Strong project management skills in a deadline-oriented environment and expert level Microsoft Excel (modeling, macros, pivots, etc.) and PowerPoint (ThinkCell) skills are required.
