Director - Marketing - Geforce - NVIDIA - Santa Clara


Job description
We are looking for a senior leader and expert consumer marketer to help us realize the exciting future of gaming. As a key member of NVIDIA Global Marketing team, the Director of Marketing is responsible for leading and creating campaigns and supporting initiatives to help the NVIDIA GeForce team achieve brand building and revenue goals. You will be the global marketing champion for the business unit's (BU) campaign and product launches and act as the conduit between the BU, Corporate Marketing, PR, Sales and external customers and partners.
The successful candidate must be a highly driven and experienced marketing professional with a track record of building innovative digital marketing programs for new and/or established consumer brands. You will need to drive a worldwide virtual team towards product and campaign goals under aggressive schedules. This role requires an extensive amount of management of marketing deliverables, so the candidate must also have experience working with the creative teams and external agencies. The candidate must also have a strong mastery of public relations, social media, and be able to drive a comprehensive worldwide marketing plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage marketing campaigns including major product/technology launches, product promotions, and key selling period promotions in support of business unit and corporate initiatives
- Work closely with BU to create appropriate, timely deliverables for the various audiences, which includes both end-users as well as channel and OEM partners
- Develop and implement strategic positioning and messaging platforms, execute marketing plans, and define budgetary parameters.
- Define campaign objectives, target audiences, strategies/tactics, creative deliverables, timeline, and ROI measurement; secure executive and regional support
- Drive cross-functional teams to execute key campaign strategies/tactics and deliverables
- Drive regular communications to track status and measurement
- Create and manage execution of supporting campaign creative materials
- Manage key campaign activities as needed including consumer promotions, advertising, partner/customer marketing

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 15 years marketing management experience, ideally within the gaming, computer industry and/or high tech creative agency
- Strong project/people management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and self-prioritize workload
- Ability to work under pressure to meet aggressive time schedules
- Proven ability to interact with and influence diverse groups within marketing, including cross-functional peers to executive management
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- MBA preferred, Undergraduate degree required
