Working with key stakeholders, this Director will have responsibility for internal management of all Fabricated System Projects, from project folder creation/P.O receipt through project completion to the satisfaction of the customer.
In effect, the successful candidate will turn a project Purchase Order into a completed wall system, ensuring that it meets the customer’s expectations for quality and timely delivery.

This business unit has four manufacturing facilities, one Project Fulfillment Center (Anoka, Minnesota). Projects are specified by architects and sold direct to installing contractors, and shipped direct to the jobsites. General Contractors are important influencers in the decision-making process.

The Director, Project Fulfillment will establish the strategies, best practices, and tools that create an industry best Project Fulfillment Center. This leader will manage the talent and career development within the function, ensuring the current members can meet the challenges of the businesses they serve; and be responsible for organizational structure, work flow design, productivity improvement and work accuracy.

End-to-End Project Fulfillment Management
Leads an effective project management and drafting process.
Implements tools, systems, and processes to sustain high-performing project fulfillment capabilities.
Increases linkages within the project fulfillment group and with sales, operations, and customer service leaders to create an integrated project fulfillment advantage

Setting Strategy and Executing for Results
Provides the FSBP leadership team with a framework for understanding what a world-class project fulfillment process/organization looks like
Has the ability to analyze relevant data in order to drive strategies and plans, to comprehend different types of projects and create accelerated project fulfillment processes
Regularly re-thinks project fulfillment to create and maintain a competitive advantage through process design, software integration, organizational structure and relationships with sales, customer service, manufacturing and logistics and the customers
Grasps the complexities of the business and seizes opportunities for productivity improvement not identified by others. Justifies investments with a compelling business case.


Candidate Profile

An action-oriented, world-class project fulfillment leader who can drive strategies across project fulfillment while building and maintaining a cross-functional team of professionals. The successful candidate must bring a track record of significant accomplishments from companies that have custom project complexity.

The successful candidate will have a four-year degree in Architecture, Engineering or other technical degree, experience with personnel management, scheduling, planning, customer interaction (architects, general contractors, and contractor-installers) and will have strong technical, leadership, and organization skills. Familiarity with Revit, Inventor, and SAP would be a plus.
