The Sales Director will have a close collaboration with all HOS Gold Enterprise Leaders and B&GA CBT Leaders, with a heavy focus on the B&GA Aftermarket CBT to design a new Channel Sales model that segments the channel, determines level of service and support Honeywell will provide each segment and develop a suite of digital tools that grows RMU sales by $100M YOY by enabling the channel to sell Honeywell products and Services.
Meet with the Channel Partner Advisory Board members to bring their VOC into the design of a superior channel sales model.
Lead a cross functional team to develop the sales tools necessary for co-marketing our portfolio of RMUs with the output being that the Channel finds it easier and therefore prefers to sell Honeywell products and Services over any other supplier. This will be revolutionary to the industry where no other supplier currently does this well.
Deploy all aspects of the new sales channel model including on-line and in person training through the use of digital tools such as webinars, blogs and during Sales Advisory Board, Channel Partner Advisory Board, Trade Shows, Operator Conferences etc. Continue to refine and enhance the tool set and digital marketing opportunities through close collaboration with the dealer network. Use best practices from other Honeywell SPGs and industries.
Provide mentoring and leadership to sales team and other functions. Write employee reviews for assigned and matrixed employees. Participate in MRR reviews. Active member of the sales leadership team. Report progress on channel model during all monthly Aftermarket and B&GA MORs.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree required in a related field of study. In lieu of a degree, 15 years of designing/managing channel sales experience,
10 years of designing / managing channel sales experience.
5 years experience leading a small team with a track record of achieving results
3 years of experience with a strong understanding of B&GA business model, sales channel, aircraft OEMs and Business Jet owners
3 years of knowledge of all B&GA products and Services.
Additional Qualifications
Masters degree
Good understanding of existing B&GA channel model and go to market process for selling new products and services.
