The Product Director will be responsible for supporting the overall marketing management of Mitek’s Knee products globally. Emphasis will be placed on product commercialization excellence; throughout the product’s lifecycle. This person effectively helps develop and execute business and marketing plans to meet the current and future needs of Mitek. They will work on new product development teams and will ultimately be responsible for directing and executing launches for new products and indications. They will also provide leadership and support for the sales organization globally. This interaction will result in establishing, developing and nurturing key surgeon relationships.

Principal Duties:
Leading the commercialization efforts of Mitek’s Knee Portfolio globally. Help lead cross-functional product development teams for assigned products based on analysis and understanding of corporate strategies, market dynamics, and technology assessments. Develop and implement annual business plans for product line(s), which support strategic corporate sales, profit and product development goals and objectives. Develop effective working relationships with new and existing surgeon advocates, which comply with HCC guidelines and corporate objectives. Manage ongoing product line(s) forecast(s), which meet market demand and corporate inventory objectives. Lead efforts to develop and implement product-training programs for sales force in conjunction with best-in-class promotional materials. Conduct product launch presentations at appropriate regional, national and global meetings.

Qualifications

BA or BS degree is required, an MBA is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of total business experience is required in marketing, sales, research & development and/or a clinical setting; preferably from the Medical Device industry. This position requires strong presentation skills, analytical skills, outstanding written and verbal communication and experience with collaborating in a cross-functional environment. Classic marketing skills such as segmentation, positioning, marketplace assessments and product launch execution are highly desirable. This position requires up to 30% travel domestically & international travel, including weekends.
