Position Summary & Key Areas Of Responsibility

• Position reports to the Senior Director, Business Infrastructure Systems (BIS)

• Management and operational responsibility for applications supporting NCR’s Sales Compensation and Professional Services Compensation functions.

• Provides management oversight through regular status and issues reviews in conjunction with the BIS Project Management Office (PMO)


• Participates in the annual planning process

• Responsible for related metrics as it pertains to Software Development and IT PMO

• Adheres to the IT strategic architecture guidelines and process

• Actively participates in annual Mgmt testing of SOX controls and quarterly review of control compliance

• Management of people (targeted team size of 3-5 onshore resources and 5-7 offshore resources), budget, and other resources

• Vendor management of external software / SAAS suppliers

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline such as Computer Science or MIS 8-10 years of related experience
Proven experience involving complex projects deployed across a globally dispersed organization with multiple dependencies
Experience managing enterprise HR and/or Compensation applications. *Excellent people management skills
Deep understanding of the IT Software Development process
Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate up, down, and across the organization



Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree PMP certification
Experience managing a global IBM Varicent environment
Experience implementing and managing SaaS applications
