Reports to Vice President, Global Business Unit (GBU) Finance
Trusted Finance Leader for the Communication Global Business Unit, across all regions and lines of business
Key finance business partner to SVP of the CGBU, VP of CGBU Operations and VP of GBU Finance.
Manage team of 12-15


Responsibilities
SeniorFinance Director for the CGBU which is focused on the Communications industryand will be responsible for various aspects of the business including but notlimited to License, Hardware, SaaS, Consulting, andDevelopment.
Will be the business partner, providing strategic financial support and advice tothe General Manager and Operations VP.
Will supportall regions and provide strategic direction on standard and consistentfinancial processes and methodology for all aspects of the business.
S/he must becapable of leveraging the larger Oracle Financial community effectively, andgather and analyze information and resolve business issues across theorganization.

Successful incumbents will think like a business partner, capable of understandingkey tactical and strategic decisions facing the organization and how financialanalysis, reporting and planning can enhance the organizations managementdecision making. Will be expected to interface and providecommunications to outside Finance functions including but not limited toCorporate FP&A and the Controller's organization to ensure seamless andresponsive communication to requests for analysis and information. Thisindividual will be strongly motivated and a self-starter.

As a member of the finance organization, you will manage a finance team that isco located and virtual.
You will be responsible for driving financeinitiatives, key cross functional business practices, the management ofboth the budgeting and forecasting processes.
You will prepare, administer, and direct thecontrol of the budget and the quarterly forecasts.
Assist in the development of short, medium,and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts withsenior management or executives to ensure objectives are met.
Influence thinking or gain acceptance ofothers in business situations. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Candidate Profile
Able to build trust and credibility between finance and the business management team
Take personal ownership for the achievement of agreed goals
Ability to interact and influence effectively with all levels of the company and lead presentations to executive management
Strong knowledge/experience of leading Finance functions within the GBF finance organization
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to manage processes, and identify cross-functional issues
Demonstrated leadership skills
15 years experience, to include 7 years within a leadership function
BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
MBA highly desired
