Director - Digital Platform - Fidelity Investments - Raleigh
Job description
We are currently seeking a Director to support a multi-year, multi-million dollar innovation initiative to create the next generation of our digital experience. You will be a critical part of the platform management team responsible for creating simple, social, and smart experiences that inspire Fidelity Charitable donors to make more of a difference with their philanthropic dollars.
The Director will work closely with the Vice President of the Digital Platform Team, the Director of Design, and stakeholders from across Fidelity Charitable to define the features and functionality that support the Digital Channels multi-year road map. They will also work closely with a Senior Manager, Technology, and Program Delivery in a faced paced agile environment to deliver the platform to market.
Primary Responsibilities
Owns the creation of the strategy / vision for new features and functionality for our digital platforms based on user needs and business priorities
Works closely with the design team to develop prototypes and design artifacts to support platform roadmap
Performs market assessments and gap analysis on current platform
Develops idea screens and business cases to support new initiatives
Determines release schedule with technology team by defining a minimum viable product and through prioritization of new development and defect fixes
Serves as Product Owner throughout agile process, ensuring user stories and business acceptance criteria meet business requirements and user expectations
Work closely with stakeholders across Fidelity Charitable to ensure that business requirements are met and that any impact is identified and properly addressed
Works with the design team and analytics to define a measurement and usability strategy to support a test and learn environment that values data driven decision making and continual improvement

Extensive experience with Digital Application Design and Development and Agile Project Experience
Ability to translate cross functional business goals into a web and mobile experience
Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior audiences
Proven ability to work with diverse, cross functional teams
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Comfort with emerging technologies and the creative thinkers that ask how that technology can be used to make giving easier and more impactful
Ability to roll up your sleeves and tackle big challenges with a great group of people!

Education & Experience
BA or BS
5 - 10 years product or program management experience, preferably digital product/experience
