Job Description
The IT Digital and Data
organization within McDonald’s Corporation is seeking an experienced Program
Manager to build a best-in-class, organizational PMO.

In this role, the Program Manager will lead an
initiative to establish a PMO for IT Digital and Data product development and
delivery, and project management best practices within the newly developed
digital space of McDonald’s. The ability to work independently with limited
direction, communicate effectively with team members in disparate geographic
locations, and provide leadership and direction will be key to the success of
this role. Primary programs will consist of multiple projects with varying
priorities and require coordination with IT management in the development of
technology products, service standards and other efforts that impact
operations.
As a critical point of contact between IT management teams and
their business partners, negotiation skills are critical in resolving problems,
and require the development of key relationships at all levels of the
organization as well as with outside vendors and contractors Responsibilities

direct management for all existing Project Managers to prioritize and
develop an optimized PMO structure, as well as involvement in the hiring
of future project management professionals

establishing and enforcing project management rigor and best practices
across the organization

program budget and program management with emphasis on resource management
and capital funding utilization

coaching of project and program managers including:

Planning – Development and tracking of all tasks, milestones, and phases
of each project deliverable.

Management – Review and oversight of project charters, scope, priorities,
decisions, and change requests

Management - Review and oversight of work breakdown schedules, milestone
and deliverable achievement, and planned activities

Management – Review and oversight team member assignments and utilization

Management – Analyze project portfolios for areas for improvement and
potential risk

Management – Track all issues and resolution paths

Management – Review and oversight to ensure quality review of
deliverables is completed, facilitate the deliverables acceptance process
including signoffs, and maintain the project deliverables repository.

projects at the program level and delegates project tasks to assigned
Vendors, Service Delivery Managers, and Project Managers

and work breakdown structures for the execution of each program and/or
project
l0 level1 lfo1"> line-height:107%;font-family:" times new roman>Develops
comprehensive and repeatable project plans for execution.
l0 level1 lfo1"> line-height:107%;font-family:" times new roman>Vendor management
including SOW management, delivery measurement, and quality verification
of deliverables
l0 level1 lfo1"> line-height:107%;font-family:" times new roman>Bridges gaps
between program stakeholders, business sponsors, and project resources

Minimum Requirements
l0 level1 lfo1"> line-height:107%;font-family:" times new roman>10+ years of
project management experience, including a minimum 4+ years of experience
in program management
l0 level1 lfo1"> line-height:107%;font-family:" times new roman>Prior experience
re-establishing or building out a PMO within an enterprise organization
l0 level1 lfo1"> line-height:107%;font-family:" times new roman>Expert knowledge
of SDLC or software delivery engagements preferred
l0 level1 lfo1"> line-height:107%;font-family:" times new roman>3+ years of vendor
management and/or IT Outsourcing experience
l0 level1 lfo1"> line-height:107%;font-family:" times new roman>Strong business
acumen and ability to partner with the business and able to work in a
cross matrix environment
l0 level1 lfo1"> line-height:107%;font-family:" times new roman>Ability to present
to key leadership within the organization and provide detailed roadmaps of
multiple projects
l0 level1 lfo1"> line-height:107%;font-family:" times new roman>Proven track
record on delivering large-scale/complex projects
l0 level1 lfo1">Budget management experience
l0 level1 lfo1">4 year degree or equivalent experience
