Director - Technology Strategy - Gigya - Mountain View

Job description
Gigya, headquartered in Mountain View, is seeking a Director of Technology Strategy to drive thought leadership and product development for the company’s Customer Identity Management Platform. Reporting to the VP of Product, this person will be an expert on the identity management market, contributing to Gigya’s product roadmap internally and representing the company at various conferences, speaking engagements, and events.

The ideal candidate can communicate strongly to outside audiences, collaborate with multiple teams and departments internally, and have a passion for identity management technologies.

Responsibilities
Own competitive and industry analysis in the identity management space.
Collaborate with the VP of Product on Gigya’s strategic roadmap.
Manage the identity management feature queue.

Represent Gigya, including speaking engagements, at tech events.
Write technology pieces in Gigya's blog.
Participate in discussions with analysts.
Assist Marketing in technical community management.
Provide on-the-ground support to Client Services, Sales, and Marketing in technology-related discussions.
Work with the Product Marketing Director to provide sales enablement materials as it relates to your research, including sales training and competitive “kill” documents.

Requirements
Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in product, engineering, architect, or related roles.
Customer-facing skills.
Ability to communicate technical ideas to sales teams, business stakeholders, and technical users.
Passion for performing presentations and giving public talks on technology.
Excellent communications skills.
Background in identity and access management preferred.
Prior development experience preferred.
