From leading positioning, naming, competitive analysis, and external communications you are responsible for shaping the voice of our solutions and its platform and help it grow a loyal client base. You will work with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, legal, product management, client services, training and more. This role will enable you to influence the product development process, organize and orchestrate product launches from beginning to end and to form future marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
As Director of Product Marketing for Cayan’s payments platform you will focus on partner, agent, and direct channels and merchant related business product launches, merchant acquisition and engagement, and co-marketing campaigns, as well as launch acquisition, engagement and marketing campaigns for the general audience of prospective customers.

be the expert in our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.
help drive Cayan’s product and services value proposition and gain insights that enable you to contribute to our broader go-to-market strategy
become the resident expert on the market and create processes to provide visibility and insight to the rest of the marketing and product organizations
plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
build and lead a team in the creation of core positioning as well as sales and marketing materials for Cayan’s payments platform, it's solutions, and related service offerings.
work closely with the Product organization to create messaging and related tools that showcase our solutions.
conceive, develop and execute innovative marketing programs that drive demand from our existing customer base
work closely with our partner and agent marketing teams to ensure that our broad partner network has the knowledge and materials they need to successfully represent Cayan in their markets
create demand for our solutions in our target markets
have attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the crucial ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits and value
work closely with all areas of the business, including sales, and merchant services
be a product and services champion in the market, representing the company at trade shows from time to time, and other third-party events.
create the demand, the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand Cayan’s solutions
Conduct market research and competitive assessments.
It is critical that you are able to partner with the product management organization to shape solutions by bringing the market perspective to the table as the product is developed and streamline execution of bringing it to market.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of product marketing experience (Pragmatic Marketing is preferred but not required)
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communications skills
Excellent people and management skills
Excellent organizational skills
Expertise in marketing, communications and product marketing
Significant exposure to a variety of B2B products and services
Significant experience in working with product managers
A proven track record of defining product launch plans and successfully executing them
Experience in business intelligence/analytics industry and enterprise B2B preferred
Experience creating focused and innovative product marketing content/collateral (web content, multimedia, data sheets, case studies, white papers, etc.)
Experience developing vertical- and persona-specific content and marketing materials
Excellent understanding of the sales process for enterprise solutions and working closely with direct and indirect sales channels and the training tools and approaches for them
Self starter with the ability to define success metrics and drive self and organization to meet them
Decision maker, able to corral multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams, focus, and make things happen
The ability to conceptualize, plan, and execute marketing campaigns with customer-facing internal teams
The ability to quickly establish credibility with customers, prospects, business partners, and internal teams
A great attitude – is adaptable, hands-on, and a multi-tasker
Results-oriented individual with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude and demonstrated pattern of accountable decision making
Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies / new product capabilities and to translate them into value propositions
Able to travel (estimate 25%), domestic
Experience developing project plans and then managing cross-functional teams to execute.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail a must
Experience working with in a software development environment, preferably SaaS.
Experience in implementing Pragmatic Marketing Framework
Payments industry experience/knowledge (a plus!)
