Senior Director - Quantitative - Egg Strategy - Chicago


Job description
We’re seeking a SENIOR DIRECTOR with a passion for finding and shaping actionable insights through expert quant data analysis. This new teammate should have specific experience as a senior-level brand consultant for a well-regarded firm and have the presence to lead savvy clients in the creation of growth strategy for their major brands.
Our teams have access to a constant stream of data from a wide range of proprietary research platforms, from large-scale online survey data to Social Media Mapping to Search Data Analysis to evidence gathered from our Over The Shoulder smartphone-based research platform and from a range of emerging platforms. We are seeking a leader with the ability to direct study design and analysis across all of these platforms and to help us envision the next research platforms that we should create to uncover the most actionable insights about people today.

Be our data-driven strategic thought leader, with the ability to inspire our senior team of Strategists and Innovators with your findings and ideas. We will rely on you to contribute unique insights and powerful recommendations into our high profile client projects.

Have a strong “front of the room” presence in client presentations, with the ability to earn the confidence of our client and to lead them towards making well-informed, smart decisions about their brand.

You should be driven to sharpen, shorten and elevate our current data reporting design to be more evocative and engaging to a wide range of client stakeholders.

We are seeking someone with a dynamic personality who is able to represent our company at industry events, on stages and at high-level meetings with clients and partners in support of business development.

Must have a keen interest in working with very competitive clients who are leaders in high-volume, dynamic categories such as beer, spirits, tobacco, fashion/outdoor apparel, gum and snacks.

You will be overseeing a portfolio of projects in collaboration with different internal teams. You must be a collaborative idea builder who can be comfortable attacking several challenges in parallel.

We are looking for someone who is driven to challenge the status quo of existing analytical thinking and statistical methodologies. A proven creator of new data acquisition tools and differentiating analytical/statistical models.

Desired Skills and Experience
15+ years of smart thinking and proven results on big brands. First consideration will be given to candidates who are excelling at other strategy and innovation agencies.

Must be SPSS proficient and have significant experience with primary and secondary research, including market segmentation, discrete choice modeling, driver analysis, regression modeling, correlations, factor analysis, cluster analysis, discriminant analysis, conjoint, structural equation modeling, CHAID, TURF, etc. We have strong points of view about the changing face of quantitative data collection and analysis, and we’ll be anxious to hear your point of view on what is working best today.

Must be able to lead, inspire and grow a team of ambitious, well-skilled direct reports.

Experience holding a joint qual/quant senior role is a plus.
