Job description
The IT Director is responsible for overall leadership and management of all Information Technology systems, policies, and practices for corporate and regional operations. The IT Director will manage an internally focused team fostering an environment of accountability and customer service. The IT Director is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, execution and continuous refinement of all company IT functions. The IT Director will work in accordance with the organization’s office policies and procedures, keeping in mind the overall core values of Securadyne Systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for developing, implementing and continuously refining a comprehensive enterprise-wide IT strategy
Develop, implement and continuously refine a companywide disaster recovery program for IT systems and information security, and privacy assurance program
Accomplish assigned financial objectives by forecasting and planning organizational IT requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action as required.
Develop, implement and continuously refine processes required to manage and track IT assets.
Act as an IT ambassador with respect to how IT can assist in driving change, improvements and efficiencies within the company.
Participate as part of the company’s M&A due diligence team when evaluating potential acquisition targets.
Responsible for establishing and enforcing company-wide processes for provisioning and retiring IT related assets, including but not limited to PCs, PDAs, phones, and printers etc.
Plans, manages and oversees the system administration of all IT systems, ERP systems, policies and procedures as part of the company’s acquisition integration team.
Manage all of the company’s owned and leased IT related software and hardware and proactively manage relationships to advance company’s position with respect to pricing and functionality.
Partners with company business leaders to drive efficiency in company ERP Systems and supporting business practices
Manage all IT related 3rd party vendor relationships.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the EOC
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Broad IT knowledge base and experience, with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
Prior experience in managing the consolidation of disparate IT platforms is strongly preferred.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and motivate direct and in-direct staff.
Customer service focused with excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Must possess strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
Demonstrate strong sense of urgency and initiative.
Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.
