What we’re looking for
As a Director of Public Relations you will oversee the service's PR strategies and activities, ensuring maximum media exposure. The Sr. Director will partner across the organization to create global PR strategies that integrate and drive business goals. He/she will also manage the PR budget and ensure that PR strategies are articulated to internal and external audiences.
What you’ll do
Lead PR activities related to a new IP and overseeing the implementation of global PR strategies
Develop and manage PR team
Develop and manage variable PR budgets
Review all press materials
Oversee the creation and coordination of activities related to industry events and upgrades to the service.
Provide strategic direction and oversee PR agencies
Manage PR staff and coordinate day-to-day activities.
Develop and implement global PR plans for the service that deliver measurable ROI
Develop and oversee product PR budgets for the service
Partner with GBM VPs, directors, and brand manager to develop integrated PR campaigns that drive BU goals and objectives including reveal and launch activities for DLC
Oversee all written PR communication related to the service
What you’ll bring
College Degree preferably in communications, public relations or journalism
10 years of Public Relations experience (agency or in-house, or combination thereof)
Strong knowledge and understand of high tech and consumer products marketing
Video game experience a +
Ability to self manage and prioritize deadlines
What you have
Direction of all written PR communication related to the service
Ability to evaluate best practices and PR activities annually
Lead consumer PR activities including digital, broadcast and online strategies related to the service
Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong leadership and management skills
Must be innovative and creative
Possess strategic thinking
