Job description
The Director of Online Sales Operations will be an online sales/eCommerce professional focused on the operations our e-commerce business, with demonstrable experience for managing online sales/eCommerce projects, product launches and other operational activities.

Position Summary:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the North American online sales/eCommerce operations & projects team.
Work cross-functionally and globally (global online sales, regional marketing, IT, digital marketing, etc) to ensure that all infrastructure and groundwork functions are aligned to maximize the selling opportunity for the business.
Work with online sales and marketing to plan and execute eCommerce activities as part of the promotion schedule and product launches.
Provide input and direction to product teams, web development, IT, marketing, and others to ensure the scope, deliverables, and functions of projects reflect the objectives of the eCommerce team.

Work with eCommerce operations partners and vendors, ensuring that all necessary resources are coordinated, dates met, and results properly analyzed/interpreted and acted upon.
Work with testing and optimization project team lead, ensuring that all necessary resources are coordinated, dates met, and results properly analyzed/interpreted and acted upon.
Leverage contacts and industry best practices to develop new eCommerce operations standards.

Desired Skills and Experience
5+ years with direct e-commerce/online sales experience
Experience defining and implementing innovative solutions and operational strategies that led to growth within an online sales/eCommerce environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage key stakeholder interests while at the same time managing conflicting priorities and business interests
Ability to build strong business relationships and work cross-functionally
Solid understanding of web trends and technologies
Strong acumen in understanding all issues of a business: sales, marketing, operations, product development
Ideally possess eCommerce platform implementation experience
