Director - Digital Marketing - Datameer - San Francisco


Job description
Responsibilities for the Director of Digital Marketing role:
Understand and leverage all aspects of digital marketing including: SEM, SEO, display ads, web analytics, and A/B testing for campaign optimization while also developing the appropriate reports to track and improve success metrics.
Develop and cultivate the overarching digital media strategy for Datameer that delivers continous pipeline and revenue growth.
Drive customer acquisition through effective SEM programs that convert into pipeline, while managing CPC and CPA.
Drive SEO optimization for the Datameer.com website for big data keywords by optimizing website content and offers.
Fully manage Datameer.com website from strategy to content to execution. Convert Datameer.com, which today is one of the top channels for leads and convert it into the number one channel for customer acquisition.
Develop a display advertisement strategy and metrics to measure and optimize all inbound campaigns.

Leverage web analytics (either Google Analytics or Omniture) to increase website traffic and conversion.
Leverage tools such as Optimizely to perform A/B testing as well as creating a personalized web experience.
Implement and continuosly improve retargetting ads.
Leverage third party websites (such as business-software.com) that provide customer ratings, and review community sites to increase brand awareness and lead flow.
Develop consolidated weekly reports for CMO and executive team, regarding performance of all digital campaigns.

Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent practical experience.
5 + years of leadership experience in digital/web marketing selling to businesses.

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong track record of managing significant global web properties and driving online customer acquisition.
Expertise in SEO, PPC, and display marketing campaigns. Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.
Demonstrated experience is managing website strategy to execution making website as the top customer acquisition channels.
Insight into the way that digital transformation is affecting our industry and knowledge of best practices. Must have the ability and experience to be perceived as a digital marketing thought leader.
Experience both as digital strategist with hands-on ability and willingness to execute the programs without the need for a large team.
Excellent ability to track all key metrics to identify top performing programs and allocate budget based on programs that generate pipeline. A pipeline vs pure lead generation mentality.
Experience converting freemium users to paid customers is a huge plus.
Ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.
