Director - Business Process & Innovation - Samsung Electronics - Seattle


Job description
Overall Responsibilities: The Director Business Process & Innovation leads or conducts or reviews of high priority opportunities programs, processes, and launches and reports results to customer team and/or customer management. This person is responsible for leading and ensuring innovative ideas are identified and occur in revenue and volume planning, team-customer work processes, and contract management. The Director Business Process & Innovation reports to the General Manager or the Director of Business Operations, SCM and Sales Finance (DOE).
Specific Responsibilities include:
Leads the identification and championing of all Account and/or Customer process, structural or consumer/customer facing innovation or improvement opportunities
Gathers or sources data/insights from constituent groups to support clear business objectives and priorities; and communicate and champion those priorities within Samsung and the customer

Be leader within both Samsung and the customer for resources and alignment on innovation priorities
Aggregates and owns a roadmap of various innovations within Samsung and the customer; understands business priorities and prioritized appropriately
Develops audit criteria and methodologies to measure internal and external KPI’s
Conducts or leads reviews and program/ policy evaluations; rreports results and corrective actions to Samsung and T-Mobile customer team management
Performs as-is analyses, gap analyses, and benchmarking; Understands and reports customer/account compliance to key programs, processes and initiatives
Understands business priorities and accountabilities for programs, processes, and launches
Source or utilize syndicated research to aid identification and evaluation of Best in Class solutions and innovations
Develop strategic level innovation plans to support revenue/volume growth opportunities, action plans and growth forecasts

Desired Skills and Experience
12 years experience in operations or related field
5 years project management experience
Six Sigma or similar certification
Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) AND mobile industries
