Senior Director - Change Management and Communications - ADP - Jacksonville


Job Description
This position will report to the Division Vice President of Client Experience and Innovation. The Senior Director will have the responsibility for planning, managing and executing upon complex Business Transformation Change Management and Communications Programs that have broad organizational impact and will drive innovation across NAS. Interactions will primarily be at a Director, VP, SVP, GM or President level.



Responsibilities include:
Partnering with Client Experience and Innovation Leaders, Business Engineering Services Leaders, and Field Executives/GMs in Service and Implementation, to lead change management and communications programs and initiatives that reinforce the service strategy at all levels of the organization.
Working with other creative talent to implement brand and marketing strategies, inform/influence clients utilizing messaging regarding our business, products and services, empowering employees with clear and actionable messages and providing general guidance to internal partners on optimizing communication methodology and medium.
Identifying communications opportunities as well as designing and executing upon delivery of communication to influence opinion and build consensus among diverse, multi-leveled audiences, including executives, associates, and internal and external clients. The Sr. Director also acts as editor in chief for communications developed by other Communications Managers, writers or partners.
Leading and directing Change Management initiatives and communication related to business transformation activities and other strategic initiatives within NAS business units through direct feedback and partnership with Sales, Finance, Product, Strategy, Marketing, Operations, Service and Implementation organizations regarding clients' and prospects' feedback ; including close interaction with industry experts.


Developing clear and concise communication standards, cadence and plans. Drafting communications, coordinating review and approval processes, and seeking legal review when applicable for a wide variety of communications
Partnering with marketing, corporate communications and project leaders to create innovative communication options that integrate messaging, graphics and branding to inspire client reaction.
Creating a communication strategy, designing a communication process and executing a plan to ensure consistent reinforcement of the Service Strategy and the key drivers.
Providing guidance to individuals and project teams to produce effective client communications strategies in accordance with established documentation standards and style guides.
Conceptualizing and developing new and interesting methods of communicating with partners and consumers
Introducing industry best practices and recommendations for process improvement in the areas of client, regional and internal support communications which may include but are not limited to bulletins, release information, newsletters, standard operating procedures, client issues and resolutions, FAQs and web-based internal and external content.
Maintaining an organized repository of historical communication.
Through the rigorous use of change management disciplines, drive new programs, processes and systems throughout the business and validate that outcomes meaningfully impact business/functional performance
Recognizing changes in service trends (operations, implementation, training, client interaction) highlighted by market trends, competitive positioning, economic conditions, and client feedback, strategizes and directing process changes and/or new initiatives in service delivery.
Working effectively with Employer Services peers in to share best practices, tools and process and the leveraging of resources that may be critical to the success of NAS and our clients.
Identifies, recommends and manages budgeting requirements for cross-organizational initiatives.
Proactively supporting associate development including individual and team goals, coaching and counseling, training plans, mentoring and career planning.
Acting as a "business champion", internal consultant and proactive strategic driver for NAS in situations with business partners such as IT, Marketing, Sales, Product Management, including executive level exchanges on product, service technology and service requirements and initiatives.
Evaluating both strategic and crisis opportunities for improving the core business. Develops plans, recommends and executes initiatives that have multi-functional or multi-organizational impact to achieve ultimate effectiveness.
Evaluating the implication of recommended initiatives and effectively communicating impact and resolutions to affected business groups and their senior or executive leaders.

Critical Skills:

A seasoned transformational leader with a strong track record of success in business process change in complex, multi-business environments.
Formal Change Mgt training (Prosci etc.) is highly desired & experience leading change programs is required.
Requirements gathering for communication plans
Facilitate elaboration sessions with subject matter experts
Knowledge of advanced concepts, principles, practices and techniques of writing and developing communication
A solid command of business communication tools and strategies
Experience working across several lines of business (sales, operations, service, etc.) with formal change and communications training.
Must be able to work well under pressure and have a strong understanding of the business process management and demonstrated achievements.
Must possess excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills and recognized organizational savvy.
Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse and conflicting activities and project teams.
Proven ability to drive decisions and actions among diverse groups to achieve goals including conflict resolution.
Demonstrated ability in coordinating multiple projects of varying complexities and scope.
Demonstrated success in a professional consulting environment and/or client service
Demonstrated success in effective written & verbal communications, negotiation and positioning of projects and business requirements under a variety of highly visible conditions.
Proven leadership skill to implement strategic initiatives in an organization.
Ability to work with all levels of a multidimensional organization as a change agent.
High energy self-starter; must be flexible and able to take the initiative with minimal guidance and be comfortable working both as an individual and as part of a team.
An individual who can attract, train, and develop highly-motivated and committed cross functional teams, exerting change management through influence and indirect reporting structures, and personally serve as the catalyst for success.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Statistics/Mathematics, Information Systems, or the equivalent in education and experience.

Experience:

2-5 years experience in Sr. leadership capacity.
8-12 years' experience working in several lines of business (operations, service, implementation, etc.) with formal Six Sigma / business process management training.
Extensive Communications and/or Marketing experience is required.
Change Management experience is required
Ability to travel up to 25%, depending on location

MBA in Operations, Finance or Strategy or equivalent in education/experience is preferred
Management/Operations/Technology consulting experience from top tier firms or internal consulting/process improvement experience from reputed firms is preferred
Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification from a reputable organization is desired
Experience working in several functions or divisions with formal Six Sigma/business process management training is desired.
Industry certification (PROSCI etc.) is highly desired.
