The Senior Director of Business Development role is a newly created opportunity that will be central to developing cutting edge and innovative solutions for EHR current and future clients. This position will expand EHR's reach into the commercial health plan market by developing relationships that further EHR's commercial services offerings. In partnership with EHR's product, sales and marketing teams, this position will coordinate all development efforts related to partnering with commercial health plans to deploy EHR solutions. Strong candidates will have deep health plan network and/or operational experience. Key skills for the position include relationship development, communications, pipeline management, and internal coordination within a matrix environment.

Specific Responsibilities include:
Responsible for planning and directing all aspects of a health plan business development for EHR
Serves as executive relationship owner for health plan accounts

Partners with Sales and Account Management to generate new business and grow existing business
Understand the client's unique business environment and challenges, incorporating those into solution development
Lead the development of new ideas for expansion to new markets or new offerings
Manage cross-functional communication (including senior executive communication) on status of development efforts
Support other EHR business development efforts as needed

Requirements
BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Health plan experience required
Business development, network development and/or sale experiences required
10+ years of professional healthcare experience
Willingness to travel up to 50%
