Sales Director - Pure Play Accounts - Cole Haan - Seattle
Job description
MISSION/ROLE:
This visionary leader will drive Cole Haan’s pure play digital business and will possess a strong ability to sell; think strategically, creatively and tactically; and lead a direct team of account executives and work with cross functional team of partners. Key success factors include proven experience with Amazon and a strong understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities, to maximize business growth and brand transformation for Cole Haan.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Lead and manage Cole Haan’s sales efforts to pure play digital accounts including Amazon, Zappos, and related sites. Mandate will be to drive strategic, exponential growth and build brand momentum via pure play sites. Charged with building and leading a team to deliver results across men’s and women’s footwear, and partner with key accessory categories. Performance measured on growth & profitability of pure play accounts.
Strategically grow & optimize Amazon & Zappos revenue, margin & overall performance
Build and lead a team of Account Executives (MFW, WFW) to determine assortment, inventory management & optimization, sales & merchandising planning, forecasting and execution
Develop recommended product assortments covering all relevant categories and licensed businesses
Leverage site analytics (as available) of partner sites to optimize conversion, on-site search, and other KPIs;
Partner with marketing on promotions, co-op, marketing events/campaigns. Manage testing strategies and optimizations to drive ROI on marketing spend. Work with marketing partners at wholesale accounts on search strategy
Serve as point person for SVS and for external third-party resources (e.g., Marketplace Ignition, Channel IQ)
Own and execute marketplace management activities to manage, monitor and execute online agreements and violations, third party selling management, etc. to be executed across wholesale online landscape
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
5-10+ years e-commerce experience in the footwear/apparel industry
Amazon buying/selling experience required
Extensive experience in sales experience, including leadership of a sales team
Proven business experience in driving & delivering results; P&L responsibility
