Director - Workforce Management - PayPal - Omaha

Job description
The Workforce Planning team partners with senior leaders to drive scale and efficiency across Global Operations that spans across multiple in-house and partner locations. We do this by developing fact-based, data-driven insights that inform strategic management decisions. Our methodologies and analytics enable our business leaders to better understand their organizations' capabilities, and establish a credible point-of-view for global staff planning and budgeting.
As a member of the Workforce Planning team, you will have the opportunity to liaison with many parts of Global Operations. You will work closely with business unit managers to evaluate ongoing production needs and long-range planning. You will analyze strategic decisions, including how strategic initiatives impact volume and staffing, identification and prioritization of improvement opportunities, partner management (sourcing, contracts and billing & invoicing), and site strategy.
Position located in either Chandler, AZ Omaha, NE or Hunt Valley, MD Relocation is available
Work with senior operations leadership and regional Workforce Planning & Management leaders to develop staffing strategies that align with forecasted workload and financial objectives
Provide thought leadership on and implement best practices and operational disciplines to achieve service level targets
Lead a North America based group of leaders, placing a high priority on driving employee engagement, high performance, collaboration and accountability.
Incorporate senior leadership's transformational initiatives into long range staffing strategies

Contribute to evolving tools, analytics, and routines
Monitor and explore workforce planning trends
Proactively identify & communicate trends/events that drive contact rate
Building credibility, establishing rapport, and maintaining communication with stakeholders at multiple levels within a matrix based organization.
Persistent in managing issues effectively; dealing with challenges constructively and positively
Rapidly and effectively adapts to highly dynamic and aggressive work environment, maintaining a positive approach during change, acting as an agent of change within PayPal's Global Operations environment
Strong working knowledge of workforce planning and management tools and best practices
Strong and demonstrated strategic orientation and leadership skills
Strong analytical skills with a practical common sense approach
Ability to establish strong relationships and work effectively in a matrix environment
Drives results while both leading and participating on teams
Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and a demonstrated ability at influencing change
Self-motivated with a high degree of ownership and accountability for results
Comfortable with ambiguity and enjoys broad challenges, shifting priorities, and unexpected events

12+ years related work experience (workforce planning and workforce management)in an operations / call center environment
8+ years supervisory experience and currently leading a team.
Experience leading and working with teams on improvement initiatives
Demonstrated experience working and influencing with executive leaders
Financial services experience desired
Self-motivated and must excel in high profile position
MBA or Equivalent experience
