Director - Strategic Partnerships - GREE International - San Francisco


Job description
The Business Development team manages key strategic partners of GREE's game studio and evaluates and executes transactions covering distribution, licensing and publishing. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, this position will play a critical role in maintaining and further developing GREE's relationships with its most important strategic partners, including Apple and Google. This is an opportunity to be the face of GREE's game studio to external ecosystem players and will require close cross-functional collaboration with internal Social Games, Studio Operations, Player Marketing, PR and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a global or multi-national company, as well as a deep understanding of the mobile social gaming industry.
Title will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
Cultivate strong relationships with key strategic partners
Liaise with internal and external constituents to facilitate product submissions and maximize the impact of launches

Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate product roadmap updates, campaign results and other high-priority information
Identify and attend relevant conferences, seminars and networking events to stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products and services and partner policy changes
Support other game studio-related business development initiatives as needed

Desired Skills and Experience
At least four years of account management experience, preferably in mobile social games or apps or in the free-to-play online gaming space
Proficiency in distilling technical information into plain English and tailoring messages to different audiences
Ability to nurture meaningful, long-term partner relationships
Exceptional verbal and written communication and sales presentation skills
Initiative in assuming ownership of and accountability for mission-critical projects
Strong interest in business development and the social mobile gaming industry; previous experience in social and/or mobile gaming highly preferred
Demonstrated versatility; a team player and fast learner
BA or BS from a competitive undergraduate school; technical background preferred
