Director - Sales - Oregon Scientific - Houston
Job description
- Manage, foster and grow existing customer base
- Direct accountability to meet or exceed annual sales targets and establish new sales and distribution channels
- Develop and execute detailed go-to-market strategies, programs and plans for each product category
- Provide training to key retailers on visual merchandising and incentive programs
- Regularly communicate with management on key accounts performance, opportunity development
- Manage and control marketing budgets for various activities, materials, vendors and samples
- Manage the closing process including negotiations, terms and conditions, and procurement activities
- Frequently communicate with the senior executives on the latest product & market trends, and competitive information
- Provide feedback about customers and products to the team regularly
Desired Skills and Experience
- Well knowledge of building and managing distribution network with proven sales track record
- Direct or indirect background in consumer gadgets with a strong understanding of market dynamics and process areas
- Demonstrate ability to manage customer relationships at the highest levels
- Excellent results in opening new accounts, over achieve sales target and other business objectives
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Candidate with less experience in relevant industry will be considered as Director of Sales
