Director - Product - Managed Accounts - Financial Engines - San Francisco
Job description
Financial Engines is seeking a product leader to own our managed account product, which represents $250M+ of annual revenue and growing 20%+ YoY. We combine cutting-edge technology with a personal, human touch to help all types of investors reach their retirement goals.
The Director of Product will play a significant role in driving growth across Financial Engine’s most profitable and highest potential business segment. You will be partnering broadly throughout the company to define product & go-to-market strategy and lead its execution. Your success will be measured by revenue growth, active users and customer satisfaction (net promoter score).
This newly created role reports into the VP of Consumer Products and is based in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities:
Create the overall consumer product vision, strategy, and roadmap for improving product-market fit, NPS and revenue growth
Bring to customers an awesome “freemium” user experience that is cross platform (web, mobile, telephony)
Drive the agile product development process in conjunction with Engineering, including creating user stories and participating in technical discussions
Work closely with designers on customer research and evaluating product designs
Develop go to market plans in collaboration with the Sales, Marketing and Operations team
Establish a shared vision across the company by evangelizing customer needs, market opportunities and priorities to support product execution
Evangelize the products internally and externally with prospects and customers.
Desired Skills and Experience
10+ years of product management experience with increasing responsibilities.
Track record of delivering consumer experiences that have won market share and scaled to a large user base
Demonstrated ability to grow and develop large revenue lines
Strong background in consumer financial technology industries.
Deep experience with all aspects of product management including story definition, prioritization and portfolio management and iterating via validated learnings
Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Uncommon mix of get it done evangelism + scrappy + get it done attitude.
BA/BS in technical field. MBA desired.
