Director - Program Management - Interbrand - San Francisco


Job description
Directors manage large, complex programs and are expert in all aspects of Interbrand offerings and program management processes. He or she is consulted for advice by senior and mid-level clients. The Director partners with the internal team (strategy, creative, implementation, new business and finance) to ensure that work is delivered on strategy, on time and on budget. He/she plays a leadership role in developing and shaping programs, and manages and develops long-term client relationships. Directors ensure that they and their teams execute the following staff-related processes: recruiting, training, coaching, mentoring, career development and performance management.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
The Director is the main point of contact to the internal team and to senior and mid-level clients during the life of a client relationship. He/she reviews, approves and crafts scopes of work to ensure that the engagement is properly set-up. Responsibilities include:
Write and manage scope of work and project timeline

Work with finance manager to create and manage project budget
Ensure documentation of best practices, case studies and lessons learned on a client engagement assisted by senior pm, pm and pc staff.
Become client’s trusted counsellor, engaging in broad based branding and business dialog
Speak with authority about a client’s business
Think through complex business issues holistically, and identify solutions to problems and recommendations
Responsible for delivering highest quality work that reflects current IB school of thought
Act as client lead, accountable for managing the financials of the project
Identify and foresee additional client needs to help grow business relationship and deliver enhanced value
Lead client presentations
Help new business assess problems and participate in pitches
Ongoing coaching, performance management and career development of junior staff

10-15 years of experience working in an agency or branding company
