Director - Production - Live Events - Momentum Worldwide - New York
Job description
WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB:
We believe that what a brand does is more important than what it says, and we want you to help brands do amazing, unprecedented, wild things, creating experiences that people never forget. Nothing is more important than an experience, and we’re looking for someone to take those life-changing moments from idea into reality. That’s you. You want to lead a team of producers and field staff across the nation building big things for some of the largest brands out there; it doesn’t get more high profile than this. You want to help define what’s next in brand experience, and then take it from InDesign to in situ. You’re an incredible and experienced live events producer who loves infusing creativity into each and every activation. You’re confident and articulate—as comfortable talking to live event staff as you are wooing clients in a pitch. You’ll be on the ground floor of pitches, helping make impossible possible. You know others in the production community who have to produce the same thing every day—another event, another commercial—but you are ready to invent and love facing a completely new challenge every day. You’re organized and ready for all situations, everything from an Olympics activation to building a concert stage to creating an extraordinary bar night and everything in-between. You know what is going on in the industry at-large and have a digital Rolodex of contacts (from vendors to freelancers) ready to drop everything to help you anytime, anywhere.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE DOING IT AT MOMENTUM:
Because the idea that a brand’s action is more important than its rhetoric is the key to our entire approach. The experiences you have help decide what a brand means to you—emotionally, socially and when it's time to buy. Experience creates real connections that lead to loyalty, advocacy and sales. So Momentum imagines and creates what we call the total brand experience. We connect brands and people in authentic ways that give real value to both. For people, that means memorable, valuable experiences—after which they love the brand for who it is and what it does. For brands, that means loyalty, sales, conversion, share and more.
