Job description
Minimum Requirements:
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with machines and equipment. Much hands-on activity included with position.
Good working with people in a collaborative environment
Possesses a desire to expand responsibilities in a management role up to and including Vice President of Operations
Well-organized and methodical with excellent time management skills; disciplined in approach to problem solving
Has both quality control and customer-centric attitude as part of their DNA for working in an FDA-regulated environment
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
Excellent computer skills
Responsibilities Include:
Improving batch-type manufacturing through process improvement that will include PLC controllers
Process controls involving fluid mechanics

Managing a small manufacturing workforce of machine operators and packagers
Contributing to research and development of new products, some of which may involve chemistry
Researching and learning new technologies that can be applied to our methods of manufacturing for continuous improvement
Manufacturing in an FDA (Food & Drug Administration) registered facility requiring cleanliness, good record-keeping and regulatory compliance
Supporting equipment and process validation
Managing inventory, scheduling production and purchasing raw materials
Identifying and driving cost reduction and productivity improvement projects

Desired Skills and Experience
Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
