Job description
The company is looking for an exceptional person to fill its Director of Operations position, a pivotal role that works closely with the Chief Operating Officer. The Director takes responsibility for forging Emerald’s strategic operating plan as well as overseeing the day-to-day functioning of factory and its management team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an ability to think critically, and a solid track record of creating operational excellence.


The successful candidate will have 10 years in operations, including managing technical and non-technical staff. An understanding of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing is crucial, as is an undergraduate degree in a related field though a graduate degree is preferred. The candidate will have a proven track record of taking tasks to completion, handling and driving change, and working cost out of the supply chain and factory processes. Experience in flexible packaging is a plus.
