Director - National Accounts - Cloud Star - San Luis Obispo

Overview:
Cloud Star is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial sales professional to serve as our Director National Accounts for the United States. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding position where you can truly see the impact and results of your work, then this position is for you. Do you have the passion, skill and relationships to drive sales with national retailers.
Candidates must be detail oriented and willing to travel overnight up to 60% of their work time. This position will report and work closely with our VP of Sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive day to day sales activities needed to achieve profitable sales goal objectives
Ability to interpret store analytics
Support current national retailer base, gaining additional shelf space
Opening new accounts
Product training and new product introductions
In-store merchandising and promotion implementation
Attendance at national trade shows
Manage T&E within budget

Job Related Qualifications:
A passion for pet wellness
Self-motivated and ability to work independently covering a large territory
Effective sales abilities to forge lasting relationship
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Strong organizational skills a must
Excellent organizational skills
Qualifications:
Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
Minimum 6 year experience in Outside Sales capacity, with 3 of those years as a National Account Manager
Experience in the Pet Industry, having worked with Petco, PetSmart & other National Retailers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
