Director - Marketing - Dermatology - Sandoz - New York


Job description
The Director, Kerydin Marketing, PharmaDerm is responsible for leading and managing marketing strategies for the Kerydin Brand to meet financial objectives. The candidate will champion development and execution of all aspects of the Kerydin commercialization plan and be responsible for budget and working across functions to ensure success of this critical launch. He/she will participate as a senior leader on the PharmaDerm Leadership Team, develop and foster relationships with the dermatology community and key opinion leaders.


Major Accountabilities
Ethically achieve Kerydin financial objectives
Develop Kerydin brand strategies and tactics
Develop annual Kerydin commercial plans and lead quarterly updates to the JSC
Manage within budget
Manage Kerydin commercial Promotion Review Committee
Ensure alignment between marketing and sales on all strategies and tactics
Lead product forecasting assumptions for and ensure quality control of end products
Monitor the ROI/performance of Kerydin marketing programs and suggest/implement necessary changes
Manage medical education initiatives, including speaker programs, advisory boards (promotional activities that are separate from medical affairs responsibilities)
Develop annual agenda for conventions and sales meetings
Monitor Kerydin manufacturing/supply chain and wholesaler inventory levels for key brands
Work closely with Sales on call plan/IC plan changes
Closely partner with cross-functional areas including Legal & Compliance, Regulatory, Marketing, etc.
Lead external agencies and vendors in support of Kerydin

Desired Skills and Experience
Ideal Background of the Marketing Director

Education :
Bachelor degree and MBA preferred
Experience:
Minimum 10 years pharmaceutical marketing experience (i.e. product management, strategic planning, market analysis)
At least 5 years in Product Management with experience working on various aspects of a brand, including product launch experience. Being the lead on the brand is preferred.
Dermatology and / or podiatry marketing experience is preferred, but not required
Management experience preferred, but not required
Candidate must have experience in planning, presenting and implementing plans
A thorough understanding of the marketing process with proven ability to develop and implement marketing campaigns
Clear understanding of market research process, methods and tools for decision making
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of appropriate market research tools
Demonstrated leadership and influencing others in cross-functional teams
Experience managing external marketing agencies
Strong computer skills
