Summary
Crowley Maritime Corporation is currently sourcing candidates for a newly created Director, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Business Development role. Crowley’s commitment to LNG has never been greater and the technology is steadily saturating itself enterprise wide. This role will require a true task-master who has succeeded in an autonomous sales and marketing capacity. The successful candidate will possess superior relationship-building, analytical, communication and presentation skills.
THIS ROLE WILL BE BASED OUT OF ANCHORAGE, AK BUT CAN BE EXECUTED FROM SEATTLE, WA WITH SIGNIFICANT TRAVEL/COMMUTING IF NECESSARY.
What you’ll be doing…
This key role is responsible for the operational management and administrative direction of executing (LNG) business development goals and objectives. Serves as an expert on the company’s product and services portfolio. Directs the research, collection and analysis of data regarding new and existing market segments, customers and trends. Establishes relationships with potential clients and connects clients with appropriate sales personnel. Oversees and participates in the preparation of bids, contract proposals and/or requests for proposals. Develops and recommends sales and marketing strategies. Provides leadership and direction in policy and procedure development, enhancement and implementation. May supervise others, including performance management responsibilities.
Desired Skills and Experience
What you’ll need…
The successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field and will possess 6-10 years in natural gas, liquid fuels, pipeline, or logistics, including direct experience in sales and/or marketing in a leadership capacity.
