Director - K-12 Partnerships - Everspring Inc. - Chicago


Job description
The Director, K-12 Partnerships generates new partnerships with schools districts and professional associations for the purpose of recruiting highly qualified teachers - who are looking to continue their education - into our University partner’s online degree programs. This role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and prioritize opportunities to partner with K-12 schools to establish academic partnerships that will generate qualified leads, applications and enrollments
Organize and represent Everspring and our University partner at regular recruiting events for the purpose of driving teacher enrollment into online degree programs
Plan and manage the roll-out of campaigns and promotions to further recruiting efforts
Responsibility for setting sales strategy and coaching/mentoring junior team members supporting channel sales

Maintain current and thorough knowledge of our University partner degree programs
Provide market feedback to Everspring and University leadership regarding competitive offerings and prospect needs; generate new business development ideas

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) is preferred
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, including making cold calls to senior level decision makers
Robust network of relationships in K-12 school districts and professional associations
Proven track record of delighting external clients and delivering against internal objectives and deadlines
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
Comfort with non-hierarchical organizations
Extensive regional travel is required
