Director - Global IT Infrastructure and Technology - Johnson Service Group - Columbia

Job description
Johnson Service Group is currently seeking a Director of Global IT Infrastructure and Technology in the Charleston, SC area. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, reliability, stability and scalability of company’s global IT infrastructure with an emphasis on SAP. Will also be responsible for all server and storage, WAN, LAN, telephony, database and system administration, messaging, directory services and potentially client hardware technical and service delivery teams. The director will provide strategic direction, ensure talent management and deliver on financial commitments while ensuring alignment with other IT function and the business.

Primary Responsibilities:
Data Centers, Global Network and System Operations Infrastructure:
Provide clear direction, priorities and engage team members to formulate a common vision which inspires commitment and buy-in

Develop, use and deliver key indicators, metrics and management systems to monitor performance against service levels, identify outage root cause and drive proactive improvements
Champion and drive adoption of service delivery, problem management, change management, release management, capability management, configuration management and incident management across the IT organization

Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum 10 years of broad IT Infrastructure experience in a global company (Prefer Manufacturing)
Must have a thorough knowledge of current techniques and capabilities of servers, internet, personal computing devices and voice/ data network technology
Experienced at managing Budgets, 3rd Party Vendors and Data Center Hosting providers
Proven experience in Infrastructure change management principles (Prefer ITIL)
Excellent skills in partnering and communicating to internal clients, including senior leaders of business functions. Should have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent understanding of an organization’s goals, objectives and ability to lead large projects
Ability to understand business challenges, drive process improvements and translate into solutions
Experience working in a SOx-compliant company
Education:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
