Director - Franchise Training and Operational Support - Solar Universe - San Francisco


Job description
The Role
The Director of Franchise Training and Operational Support is responsible for knowledge management and transfer across Solar Universe’s franchise network, including the design and execution of training programs; the maintenance of corporate training content; and small business management help for franchise owners.
The ideal candidate is tech savvy, passionate about the solar industry, a fast learner, and wants to be involved in efforts to make our franchisees successful.

Responsibilities
Collaborate and coordinate training activities with subject matter experts
Provide feedback against learning objectives; Assess/test to measure knowledge transfer
Utilize a variety of the training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs
Work with key executives and internal partners to analyze franchisee performance so that additional training can be prescribed and developed
Own and manage the company’s knowledge library

Assist franchise owners with ongoing training needs
Provide franchise owners with small business general management support
Ownership and execution of the onboarding program for new franchisees

Desired Skills and Experience
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field, MBA preferred
Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program design & development, and training technologies
Strong project management experience
Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously
High energy, enthusiastic, and motivational training style
Must be well organized and have the ability to meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
Strong presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
