Director, Corporate Marketing

Manta is seeking a director of corporate marketing to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that support content marketing, subscription products, ad sales and other company initiatives. This position will manage multiple marketing functions that impact both the marketing team and overall company, including PR, creative, analytics and product marketing. This position can be based in Columbus, OH or Oakland, CA and reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

What you’ll be doing:
Manage corporate marketing team currently comprised of PR Manager, Creative Director, and Data Analyst

Hire and manage additional resources as needed, including product marketing managers
Develop comprehensive marketing plans in conjunction with other marketing directors and CMO
Lead PR, social media, and corporate event strategy
Provide direction and assistance on creative development
Oversee data analysis to provide insight for decision making
Develop and execute cross functional product marketing analyses, including competitive analyses, pricing analyses, market research, cost/benefit analyses and go to market planning for new products, services and functionality
Provide leadership and professional development for direct reports

Desired Skills and Experience
What you need to be successful:
10+ years marketing experience with clear progression of increasing responsibilities
Experience managing direct reports and/or leading teams
Direct experience in at least two of the following areas: PR, social media marketing, creative development, product marketing, data analysis
Ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans
Ability to delegate effectively while working as individual contributor as needed to get the job done
Ability to manage teams efficiently and lead professional development efforts for direct reports
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a large number of internal teams and external stakeholders
Other:
Position is based in Columbus, OH or Oakland, CA
Travel up to 10% of the time
