Director - Application Development - Kaseya - Waltham

Kaseya is currently looking for a Director Application Development to join our management team in Waltham, Massachusetts. Reporting to the COO, this individual will be responsible for leading the team that develops new capabilities, integrations and refinements to the applications that support Kaseya’s global business, including Marketo, Netsuite, Zendesk and other internal and SaaS-based application platforms. This individual will lead the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and performance of applications and will provide ongoing support for our internal user base. The successful candidate will create and manage enterprise-wide application delivery and support processes ensuring that applications are integrated and adhere to stated principles and standards, anticipate changes in technology, and strategize how best to take advantage of these changes while mitigating risks.

This leader will lead and partner with a high-performing team of technology professionals and lead the overall strategy in generating business value by delivering superior solutions for our organization. The successful candidate for this role is someone who inspires trust, demonstrates a sense of urgency, drives for results, promotes transparency and teamwork, and leads courageously.


Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for mapping business strategies into an enterprise-wide application delivery approach and organization, partnering with various business and technology stakeholders in the company.

Responsible for managing the evolution of our enterprise applications. This includes participating in strategic planning processes, defining a technical strategy, establishing and implementing systems based on corporate direction and driving the transformation of legacy applications to enterprise reference implementations.

Collaborate with customers, vendors, industry consultants and senior company leadership to ensure commitment and alignment for strategy and programs, including the definition of performance metrics and realization of benefits.
Collaborate with internal and external business partners to identify business opportunities that maximize efficiencies.
Facilitate effective communication between staff, business units, management, vendors and other technology resources within the organization.

Provide direction and consultation to technology teams in support of the business application. This includes leading and coordinating activities throughout development and ensuring the requirements are clearly understood developed and delivered.
Manage a diverse portfolio of tasks, quickly mediate between competing priorities, and work collaboratively and effectively with IT colleagues, contractors, and business management both within and across business units and geographic regions.

Significant experience and a track record of success with system design, and with agile with scrum development processes is required including but not limited to requirements analysis, feasibility studies, software design, programming, pilot testing, installation, vendor evaluation and operational management.

Experience with application and infrastructure security is preferred.
Experience with implementing and integrating Salesforce.com, Netsuite, Marketo, Zendesk and Drupal preferred.
Experience in a global company working across major geographic regions is required.
Superior communication skills in communicating technology direction for all levels of management.
Experience developing strategies and operating models for outsourcing and off-shoring strongly preferred.
Experience implementing change management programs required.
Bachelors degree required; Masters a plus
Strong program/project management leadership knowledge and skills centered on agile development methodology with track record of success.
Customer focused, impeccable integrity and ethics; a team-player with intuitive interpersonal skills who values transparency and collaboration.
