Vice President - Sales - Key National Account - Marietta Corporation - Cincinnati


Job description
Marietta Corporation currently has an immediate opportunity for a Vice President of Sales based out of Cincinnati, Ohio to oversee its largest national key account. Candidates must be within driving distance of Cincinanati or be willing to relocate. The selected candidate will build and manage the customer relationship, have a thorough understanding of the customer's strategy and objectives, and understand the scope and complexity of projects and communicate thoroughly to Operations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with Sales/Marketing Management team to develop plans and business objectives as well as the successful implementation of those plans
Works with contract customers and customer partners to grow business in their markets
Builds Marietta into a world class, leading amenities company which includes world class value proposition, quality, service, programs, products, organization, training, customer service and design
Ensures expenditures incurred remain within budget
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key community, and strategic partners.
Evaluates and recommends distribution channel development programs.
Develops and manages sales operating budget for Contract Sales. Achievessatisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends
Determines agencies and suppliers of record, and negotiates contract terms andConditions for major services.
Researches, analyzes and monitors financial, technological and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
Reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives. Guides preparation of sales and marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field required.
Minimum of 8 years' experience in the management of key national accounts in the consumer packaged goods industry. Experience in a liquid blending preferred.
Strong technical apptitude to understand scope and complexity of projects
Ability to build strong relationships with the customer
Excellent project management skills
Ability to generate creative solutions
Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
