Director - Publisher Account Management - Tremor Video - New York


Job description
The Director, Publisher Account Management will have the proven ability to understand, thrive, lead, manage, and deliver exceptional results on behalf of our publishers. This role is responsible for leading a team of senior publisher account managers in building deep relationships with our premium publishers and focused on driving publisher revenue through both direct and programmatic channels. Via Tremor’s world class SSP, he or she will have access to a whole roster of demand sources, including Tremor’s own video network and DSP, with which to monetize desktop, mobile, and CTV publisher inventory through both the open auction and direct deals. In this highly visible and rewarding role, you will interface with departments across one of the largest online video advertising ecosystems including Publisher Sales & Support, Product Development, Media Sales & Account Management, and Campaign Delivery & Yield Management.


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
§ Working with the senior management team to formulate and implement a focused strategic partnership strategy to grow publisher revenue and therefore revenue for Tremor
§ Develop strong relationships with our publishers to understand their goals and financial targets to formulate holistic monetization strategy via both direct and programmatic channels
§ Develop strong relationships with Tremor Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to understand strategic priorities and creatively identify partnership opportunities to support those priorities and drive revenues
§ Work closely with internal (sales, product development, operations, legal) and external parties to structure business relationships and negotiate contracts that maximize value for all constituents
§ Participate in cross-functional collaboration between Publisher Sales & Support, Product Development, Media Sales & Account Management, and Campaign Delivery & Yield
§ Serve as a mentor to your team and identify opportunities to help them with career growth

Qualifications:

§ BA/BS required
§ 8+ years of relevant industry experience, including experience in partner account management or client services.
§ Service and client relations oriented with ability to successfully network with leading decision-makers and all levels of management and personnel
§ Direct experience in online video advertising and SSP platforms
§ Excellent communication skills, especially strong presentation skills with a knack for consultative selling
§ Strong understanding of the overall ad technology ecosystem (SSP, DSP, RTB, etc.), ad servers, ad formats, 3P data, and other related products
§ Must possess be strong in analytical, data-driven decision-making and strategic problem-solving
§ Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing and prioritizing the needs of multiple partners
§ Proven thought leader with demonstrated success driving business initiatives with progressive responsibility
§ Experience with DSPs and RTB platforms desired
§ Must have advanced-level MS Excel proficiency
