Director - Product Management - Mobile Apps - Vimeo - New York

Job description
We are looking for a seasoned product manager to join the team to help serve millions of monthly users who experience Vimeo on our mobile apps. As the Director of Product Management for Mobile Apps, you will oversee the development of mobile applications on iOS and Android platform while architecting the future landscape of the Vimeo mobile experience. You will draw from your deep product management experience to support the SVP of Product in ideating, steering and executing the product strategy and roadmap. Additionally, you will work with various internal and external groups to grow our mobile footprint, increase the level of engagement with our users, and raise the bar on what's possible in mobile app user experience.


The ideal candidate is a multifaceted leader who has a passion for building products, operationalizing highly iterative product development process, with a knack for working with various groups where clarity, care, vision and drive are highly appreciated and demanded.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Develop, own and execute the mobile app product roadmap.
Partner with design, engineering and project management to deliver a superior experience and value for our mobile app users while supporting product and business objectives.
Define and deliver the long-range, high-level mobile app strategy and tactical plans.
Develop and document various (business, product and functional) requirements, use cases and application flow.
Track, analyze and report on performance of mobile app products.
Proactively conduct competitive analysis and stay on top of industry trends to identify areas of risk and opportunity

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
5 to 7 years in Software Product Management
Past experiences in launching new and innovative mobile products, providing specific examples you can speak to about dealing with successes, failures and iteratation over time
Strong examples of how you have worked well with others and led those that you don’t manage with your natural ability to influence and motivate
Exceptional communication and analytical skills
Insane attention to detail and a mind that is constantly thinking about user experience
Ability and appreciation for working both granularly and in broad strategic directions
Deep understanding and experience with mobile user video creation and consumption behavior
BA or equivalent required
