Director - Finance - Theradex - Princeton

Theradex® is currently recruiting for a Director, Finance to be based at our headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees finance and accounting areas for the US operations; serves as a strategic member of the US leadership team and business partner to the UK office.
Analyze and present financial reports in and accurate and timely manner: clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; propose recommendations to leadership team utilizing performance metrics.

Manage organization cash flow and forecasting.
Implement a robust contracts management and financial management reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.
Update and implement all necessary finance policies and accounting practices: improve the finance departments overall policy and procedures, including supervision of an upgrade to the current accounting system.
Oversees all corporate, clinical and service contract negotiations.
Safeguard financials through annual audit and management of cash flow.

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other business related field is required. Master’s level degree preferred. The successful candidate will have 7+ years relevant experience preferably in a CRO/pharmaceutical environment and 3+ years prior management experience. Must possess a strategic thinking approach with the desire to continually review and improve processes. The individual will demonstrate a high level of competency and confidence in order to effectively work and develop through interaction with other highly motivated individuals. Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks that are time sensitive. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat are required. Highly developed leadership skills and strong communication skills (written and oral) are essential.
