Director - Content - Ask - Oakland

Ask.com is a leading site on the Internet with more than 200+ million worldwide unique monthly users. As we pursue continued growth for Ask's Content Business, we seek an experienced Sr. Product Manager to drive new features, consumer products, content management and backend solutions. This role will pursue desktop, mobile and tablet solutions across multiple properties.

The Sr. Product Manager, Content will work closely with UX, Engineering, Analysts, and Content Production teams to drive product initiatives based on the Content team's goals and user feedback. This position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Product Management, Content.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Content team, senior executives, UX and Engineering to write product requirements
Conduct internal, competitive and user research to identify business opportunities and make business cases for new product initiatives
Work with UX to develop wireframes and to conduct usability testing
Partner with Engineering and Project Managers to develop products in an agile environment
Partner with QA and Release Planning to ensure organized, on-time releases
Analyze test and optimize features with the Analytics team
Partner with SEO experts to ensure site is optimized to drive traffic via search engines and social media
Communicate plans, status, and results to teams and management
Work collaboratively with other Product leaders across the organization

Qualifications
5+ years of Internet product management experience with emphasis on consumer products and/or content management solutions
Strong eye for design and UI
Creative, yet data-centric
Excellent leadership skills and ability to work cross-functionally to deliver results
Experience managing the production and development of new tools
Ability to work well in a team environment, scrum/Agile experience a plus
Strong communication, written, and presentation skills
