Job description
As the Director of Customer Reviews you will drive the product strategy, roadmap and engineering initiatives for Amazon Customer Reviews. You will be responsible for building the team that will evolve and re-imagine this iconic product that revolutionized shopping. The ideal candidate has a track record for developing a vision, defining strategy and building a team that drives both technology and business initiatives.
- Business experience in a fast-growing software technology business.
- Proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-driven decision making.
- Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic initiatives into detailed operating plans.
- Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to hire, develop and manage a high performing cross-functional team.
- Experience defining and building both UX and API-based products and services.
- Experience with Machine Learning techniques to leverage big data to solve customer problems and create great product experiences.
- Undergraduate degree in CS or equivalent work experience
- MBA
