Job description
The CSPD Business Operations team is chartered to transform Paypal core services product development to an agile-based, highly efficient, service-oriented technology team. Paypal is constantly pushing the frontier of commerce from online to retail and rapidly expanding across geographies and payment methods. The CSPD organization and Business Operations team is at the center of all of it and passionately driving Paypal's aggressive business growth by building the core capabilities and platforms.
The Role:
The Director, CSPD Portfolio Management and Delivery will be responsible for all demand management and overall project management for Core Services Payments & Credit Product Development. He/she will drive planning and operations to ensure that the strategic objectives of Core Services Payments & Credit PD are effectively accomplished. This leader will establish and drive key performance indicators and leverage data and analytics to understand operational dynamics and results. He/she will focus efforts around operational excellence-how this is measured and how this can be improved, particularly with regard to customer satisfaction/focus. This leader will be responsible for establishing and driving operational rhythms across Core Services Payments & Credit PD, ensuring appropriate cohesion around communication, partnership, and operational efficiencies. He/she will have oversight over all project leaders in Core Services Payments & Credit PD and drive effective accomplishment and resourcing of this work.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Establish and improve operational excellence by managing to key performance indicators and operating rhythms.
Establish and drive operating rhythms to ensure effective communication, partnership and delivery.
Drive business roadmap delivery through data and analytics; putting in place operating rhythms and relationships with business and product teams to ensure transparency and effective delivery
Oversee and lead project managers to successfully complete objectives and drive the overall Technology PMO methodology for Core Services.
Lead the continued agile transformation and value delivery for the CSPD Payments & Credit organization partnering closely with technology transformation team to understand and implement operational efficiency activities.
Develop, retain, and recruit a high performing team.
Candidate Background:
Minimum of 7 years experience of progressive responsibility within Technology for a large, multi-national organization.
Minimum of 5 years experience driving leading project management leaders and processes successfully in organizations. Demonstrated experience managing across a global organization and stakeholders.
Demonstrated understanding of Operational Excellence programs and processes, with experience driving them successfully within organizations. Experience developing and implementing metrics to deliver desired business outcomes.
