Job description

Responsibilities: The role of Sprout's Programming and Marketing Research Director will be to support internal departments with audience research needs. The functions supported by this position primarily include Marketing, Programming & Scheduling, Digital, Communications/PR, and Finance. The key responsibilities for this position include:
Collaborate with Research VP on setting department priorities
Oversee the regular reporting of audience metrics
Complete upfront and LRP audience estimates
Lead primary research initiatives
Lead the relationship with Sprout's viewer circle panel vendor
Summarize and release syndicated research findings relevant to Sprout and the kids media market
Provide monthly press release metrics to the Communications team
Monitor the department budget with the department VP and Finance
Manage and mentor staff

Qualifications / Requirements: Qualifications
Eight or more years in media research with significant project management experience in primary, secondary and syndicated research.
Strong media software skills and top level proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience with alternative platform metrics (digital, mobile, video on demand, TV everywhere, social media)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or significant work experience
Strong professional references
