Director - Digital Strategy & Execution - PepsiCo - New York
Job description
The Director Digital Strategy & Execution reports to the Vice President, Global Consumer Engagement for PepsiCo's Global Beverages Group (GBG) and manages the digital practice groups at GBG, ensuring that all are delivering category-leading results in digital. This role reports directly to the VP of Global Consumer Engagement and consults regularly with the SVP of Global Consumer Engagement and his direct reports. This role demands extensive experience in creating and managing (from both a technical and strategic perspective) breakthrough branded digital experiences across a wide variety of social/digital platforms and audiences. This person will develop, implement, and measure digital marketing and media solutions that enable GBG and the PepsiCo beverages markets to be a best in class marketer while driving digital creativity, sales, and desired business results.
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop standards and best practices across PepsiCo's beverages group for digital activity and social engagement, including technical development, managing customer experiences in the digital space, creating and managing digital content, mobile telephony development, social strategy and platforms, as well as alternative production.
Represent GBG in support of internal brand digital initiatives, collaborating with teams across the business units.
Lead the development and execution of digital planning, search, display, rich media, video, and custom content programming.
Develop and manage the digital media budget while achieving efficiencies and driving maximum effectiveness.
Partner with S&I and outside resources to develop measurement systems and ways to analyze digital initiatives.
Manage the digital media team and external agencies.
Effectively define scopes of work, manage vendors, project budgets, and resource allocation.
Formulate and align the organization to a holistic digital strategy that functions as a core part of each brand's strategy and behavior.
Qualifications:
Desired Experience:
10+ years experience in digital strategy and/or development.
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple agencies representing large brands.
Cutting edge knowledge of existing and new technologies.
Experience in client and project management.
Brand marketing experience is a plus.
Must be able to multi-task and work with cross functional teams.
Experience managing and leading a team.
Deep relationships and influencing skills in the digital media space.
An MBA is desired; BA required.
